Sterling silver and brass earrings featuring SETSU-GEKKA 雪月花, meaning snow, moon and flower.

Setsu-gekka is the name given to a group of traditional patterns in Japan. The name originally came from a Chinese poem from the 8th century and the word appeared in the oldest existing collection of Japanese poetry, the Man'yōshu, literally meaning the collection of ten thousand leaves. It has been cherished as a seasonal design especially during the Edo Period (1603-1867).
