24 SEASONS
#18 霜降 (SOUKOH) – Frost Falls [24 OCT – 7 NOV]
Frost appears for the first time as dew freezes. The land is blanketed in white, and the trees showcase their vivid autumn colours. Brilliant reds and yellows sparkle briefly, a fleeting reminder of the season before winter. Seasonal offerings during Jusan'ya include fresh produce such as chestnuts.

This piece is an experimental metalwork from the Twenty-four Seasons jewellery collection, inspired by Japan’s unique four seasons, which are further divided into 24 smaller seasonal periods, known as Niju-shi Sekki. Even today, many traditional customs and events continue to follow this calendar.
