Each hand-crafted TSUCHIME 槌目 ring has a completely unique pattern – no two rings are the same, and that symbolises your own unique life. TSUCHIME 槌目, meaning hammered in Japanese, is a texture style dating back to ancient times. I wholeheartedly handcraft each ring individually without using any electric tools.

The TSUCHIME collection comes in two patterns named after different types of snow – 牡丹 Botan and 細雪 Sasamé. 牡丹雪 Botan-yuki, meaning Peony snow in Japanese, has subtle large hammered patterns on the surface and offers a simple and serene image. The other style 細雪 Sasamé -yuki, meaning fine snow in Japanese, has a smaller and more distinctive hammered pattern.

JAPANESE STYLE TRADITIONAL GIFT BOX, KIRIBAKO

This item will come in a traditional wooden box called Kiribako, meaning Paulownia wood box. This is an ancient Japanese storage tradition, born out of the humid Japanese climate. The wood is resistant to moisture so in our climate it’s an ideal material to use to protect valuable items.
