COUNTRY WALK JOURNAL

The sheep I meet around Barr Castle every day. The castle is a ruined tower house constructed in the 15th or early 16th century. Barr means height or hill in Scottish Gaelic.

散歩で毎日出会うバー城の羊たち。パンダ羊と勝手に呼んでいます。バー [Barr]とはスコットランドで話されるケルト系言語ゲール語で、高台や丘を意味するそう。15世紀から16世紀初期に建てられたとの事。

The roe deer escorted me to a secret garden of snowdrops in the Rabbit Hole.

散歩中に時々出会う鹿たち。この鹿は、ラビットホールとあだ名をつけた森の奥へ案内してくれました。そこには冒頭写真スノードロップの野原が広がっていて、ただただ感動しました。

The landscape I can’t get enough of.

1001 DAYS PROJECT

1001 Days Project 千昼一昼ﾌﾟﾛｼﾞｪｸﾄ from the left：

I'm truly honoured to be part of David Greenslade’s exhibition along with lots of fabulous Welsh artists and friends, including Iwan Bala, Kelly Campbell, Alun Hemming, Koshu and Emrys Williams at Volcano Gallery, Wales. David is a writer and poet based in Wales and Romania. I met David in 2011 when he was one of my tutors at Cardiff Metropolitan University. This exhibition is a celebration of his great passion for both creativity and collaborations with artists.

I created seven soft pastel works on canvas, all inspired by David's poems. Many of them include political and social issues that I might have not fully understood but I always seek to find hope in all stories.

Chris brought me a beautiful bouquet to celebrate the completion of the submission for the show.

南ウェールズのギャラリーで開催のグループ展覧会に展示させて頂く機会を頂きました。2011年ウェールズに移住して二年目に出会った作家のDavid Greenslade氏にお誘い頂き、彼の詩にインスパイアされた7点のパステル画を出品。数ヶ月かけて準備していた絵の完成をクリスがブーケでお祝いしてくれました。
